WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND? WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEALTH?: Ava canonically has been working in wet ops for SHIELD, a government agency, since she was of legal age or even earlier. Presumably she was making a wage. The only real evidence of this is the fact she sometimes has makeup and apparently regularly relaxes her hair (which can run over $450 a pop). Reasonably, she was in too much chronic physical pain thanks to her disequilibrium to spend her money on anything but health equipment and scientific solutions for the problem, most of her life. To be fair, a lot of the quantum tech appears to have been so expensive, she had to steal it. However, Ava is increasingly interested in comfort and pleasure as she puts distance from those shitty times, and material resources are a great way to access those.

WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR CHARACTER?: Her parents died in a horrible technology accident that permanently altered her body and led to those decades of pain. While the original machine malfunction was her father's fault, she presumably caused her mother's death by going back for her dad, leading them both to be on ground zero for the explosion.
